Kojo Antwi is entering the transfer portal.

The third-year Ohio State wide receiver is entering the transfer portal after three seasons with the Buckeyes, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Wednesday.

Antwi was one of four receivers to sign with Ohio State in the 2022 class, along with Kyion Grayes, Caleb Burton and Kaleb Brown. All four members of that class have now transferred away from the Buckeyes without seeing significant playing time at Ohio State.

A native of Suwanee, Georgia, Antwi arrived in Columbus after four seasons at Lambert High School, where he became the No. 26 wide receiver and No. 151 overall prospect in his graduating year. Following a promising prep career, Antwi’s three years with the Buckeyes were lackluster in comparison, as the 6-foot, 194-pound receiver appeared in only 13 games over three seasons. He recorded only one catch for eight yards, which came in this year’s game against Western Michigan.

With hopes of earning a bigger role this season, Antwi found himself buried on the depth chart behind Jeremiah Smith, Emeka Egbuka, Carnell Tate and Brandon Inniss, among others.

As a high school recruit, Antwi received interest from several schools. In addition to Ohio State, he took official visits to Georgia, Texas A&M and USC before he committed to the Buckeyes in July 2021.

Antwi will bring two years of eligibility to his next school. He’s the third Buckeye to announce he’ll enter the transfer portal when it opens next week, joining fellow wide receiver Jayden Ballard and linebacker Gabe Powers.

The NCAA transfer portal officially opens next Monday. The portal will be open for players to enter from Dec. 9-28, though players on teams still playing in the postseason will get an additional five-day window to enter the portal after their seasons end. Players do not have to choose their transfer destinations before the portal window closes, and there will be another 10-day window for players to enter the portal from April 16-25.
