As we creep closer to the release of the first college football video game in more than a decade, EA Sports released its ranking of the top 25 offensive teams in the game on Thursday.

Ohio State slots in at No. 5 in EA Sports' College Football 25 offensive power rankings with an 89 overall rating.

Georgia’s offense is ranked No. 1 at 94 overall followed by Oregon at No. 2, which also earned a 94 overall rating on offense. Alabama and Texas follow at No. 3 and No. 4 with 91 overall ratings. OSU, LSU, Miami, Colorado and Missouri each have an 89 overall offensive rating.

With all of its turnover from last season, Michigan’s offense is not ranked in the top 25.

Per EA Sports, the rankings were determined by a combination of data from Pro Football Focus, game film and statistics.

The Buckeyes are expecting big things from TreVeyon Henderson, Emeka Egbuka, Quinshon Judkins and other star players offensively as they enter the 2024 season with national title aspirations.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on July 19. EA Sports will also unveil the top defensive units on Thursday and the overall team power rankings on Friday. Individual player ratings will be announced in July.

On Tuesday, the company announced Ohio Stadium is the No. 4 toughest place to play in the game.
