Four practices have shown a lot about where Ohio State’s team is at early in preseason camp.
The defense has had the edge a lot of times in practice and that trend continued on Sunday, with Jermaine Mathews Jr. standing out in pass coverage and Sonny Styles continuing to look natural at Will linebacker.
Ohio State seemed unafraid to show that Will Howard is the frontrunner in the team's quarterback competition, as he took all first-team reps except one, on which Julian Sayin threw a pick-six to Mathews.
There were also some mixes and matches on the offensive line, where Seth McLaughlin was seen playing guard for the first time, though he's still expected to be the team's starting center come the season.
Eleven Warriors' Dan Hope and Andy Anders discuss their biggest takeaways from the practice in our camp day four episode of Press Coverage, which you can view in the video player at the top of the page.
