Ohio State continues to see plenty of players garner recognition on preseason award watch lists.
Running back Quinshon Judkins, quarterback Will Howard and wide receiver Emeka Egbuka are three Buckeyes representing OSU on the 2024 Walter Camp Player of the Year preseason watch list, which the award’s foundation announced Monday.

Ohio State and Notre Dame pace the nation with three players each selected to the Water Camp Player of the Year award watch list, an annual award presented to the best player in college football. Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Michigan, Ole Miss and Penn State each have two players on the watch list.
The 2024 watch list includes 41 offensive players (20 quarterbacks, 11 running backs, five receivers/tight ends and two offensive linemen) along with nine from the defensive side of the ball.

Ten semifinalists will be chosen in early November and three finalists will be announced on Nov. 26.
Howard, Judkins and Egbuka were each also nominated for the Maxwell Award, which also honors college football’s best player.
