Ohio State vs. Oregon is set for primetime.
During an appearance on The Herd on Tuesday, Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt revealed that OSU's matchup with Oregon on Oct. 12 in Eugene will be televised by NBC, putting the game in NBC’s 7:30 p.m. time slot.
The kickoff time has not yet been officially announced by Ohio State, Oregon or NBC.
The Buckeyes’ trip to Eugene will be one of at least two night games for Ohio State during the regular season, with the Buckeyes set to play Western Michigan at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 on Big Ten Network. Only three kickoff times for Ohio State‘s 2024 season have been officially announced, with the Buckeyes playing home games against Akron at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 (CBS) and Michigan at noon on Nov. 30 (FOX).
Ohio State's matchup vs. Oregon will be the first clash between the two programs as Big Ten Conference foes. The Buckeyes are 9-1 against the Ducks all-time but lost their most recent meeting in the 2021 season, a 35-28 Oregon victory in Ohio Stadium.
