It's hard to name an Ohio State starter who didn't stand out at some point during the team's 56-0 dismantling of Western Michigan.
The Buckeyes showed massive improvement on the ground with 273 rushing yards at a clip of 7 yards per carry. Ohio State's defense recorded its first shutout since 2019 as OSU outgained the Broncos 683 to 99.
While Ryan Day and the team's job is to find little details to scrutinize on film, it was just about all positivity from Dan Hope and Andy Anders on After Carmen, Eleven Warriors' new in-stadium postgame show.
Of course, it wouldn't be a postgame breakdown without mentioning Jeremiah Smith, who continued to show why his ceiling has no limit in Columbus with a 119-yard first half including an electric 70-yard touchdown catch and run. Defensively, the Buckeyes’ depth stood out again as Arvell Reese moved up the linebacker depth chart and Jack Sawyer had another dominant performance.
