It took two plays for Emeka Egbuka to answer the 13-play touchdown drive Ohio State's defense gave up against Marshall to open Saturday's game.

Catching a quick screen pass off the arm of Will Howard, Egbuka picked up road-clearing blocks from Josh Fryar, Seth McLaughlin and Gee Scott Jr., got an escort from Carnell Tate and dashed 68 yards untouched to the end zone.

The score was Egbuka's first of the season as he now has 10 catches for 217 yards in 2024. It's his 15th career touchdown.

The catch-and-run also answered a 13-play touchdown drive allowed by the Buckeyes' defense to open its game with the Thundering Herd, tying the contest at 7-7 with 7:32 to play in the first half.
