Ohio State will be without its third defensive end for the rest of Saturday's contest.
Caden Curry, who recorded a third-down sack against Marshall earlier in the game, was ejected for targeting with 12 seconds to play until halftime.
Curry came off the line of scrimmage looking to break up a fourth-down pass from Thundering Herd quarterback Stone Earle, but after coming down, Curry lowered his head and connected with Earle's helmet after he had thrown the ball.

It's the second time in as many games a Buckeye has been ejected for targeting, with cornerback Denzel Burke ejected in the first quarter of Week 2 against Western Michigan.
Curry will be eligible to return at the start of Ohio State's next matchup at Michigan State.
