Tyleik Williams will be available to play against Michigan State.
The Ohio State defensive tackle is expected to return to action on Saturday night in East Lansing after missing last week’s game against Marshall with an undisclosed injury, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Friday.

While Ryan Day has not yet confirmed Williams’ availability for Saturday’s game, he said Wednesday that Williams had been practicing this week and “had a good day” on Wednesday.
His return is crucial for Ohio State’s defensive line, which wasn’t as disruptive without him against Marshall as it had been in its first two games of the year against Akron and Western Michigan. Williams recorded nine tackles with two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in Ohio State’s first two games of the year.
Ohio State will release its full status report for the Michigan State game at 5:30 p.m., two hours before the game kicks off at Spartan Stadium.
