Dylan Raiola wasn't a fan of bottles being thrown onto the field by the Buckeye faithful following a questionable targeting penalty against Ohio State Saturday afternoon.
The former Ohio State commit and current Nebraska freshman quarterback shared his opinion of items other than footballs being thrown around the field after he was asked about the situation during his postgame press conference.
“The bottles being thrown is just — I don’t know — it kind of feels like it disrespects football and the nature of it,” he said. “But it happened, and we had to get away from it. But nah, it was loud. It was a cool environment. We knew that coming in."
So much happened. Nebraska pass rules a completion, a targeting call was confirmed, fans began throwing trash on the field and Ryan Day erupted. #Huskers #OhioStateFootball pic.twitter.com/1fWQBAJZnF

Following the long break in action, Raiola threw an interception three plays later on 3rd-and-19 at Nebraska's 38-yard line with 1:16 remaining to seal the win for the Buckeyes. The Cornhuskers dropped to 5-3 on the season, including back-to-back losses to Indiana and Ohio State.
In his eighth career starter, Raiola completed 21-of-32 passes for 152 yards and an interception against the Buckeyes. He also ran for a career-high 31 yards on nine attempts.
