If you had Dylan Raiola out-performing all Ohio State players as a rusher last weekend, perhaps you should also offer up a prediction on next week's election!

(Just kidding, don't actually do that please.)

Anyway, the Buckeyes had arguably their biggest letdown performance of the season so far against the Cornhuskers. Accordingly, Johnny and I examine the pros and cons of the narrow win over Nebraska relative to OSU going forward on The Eleven Dubcast this week. Not a great time for a tight victory in which the favorites failed to score even as much as the closing spread when another road trip looms against a top-five opponent next week.

Additionally, the Dubcast discussion also covers:

  • This offensive line misses Josh Simmons badly. How did Zen Michalski have such a lousy performance after putting up a solid relief effort at Oregon?
  • Despite the struggles up front, Will Howard had another solid performance. But why did he throw the ball nearly 20 times less than the previous game despite only three incompletions?
  • The defense generated more pressure this week and only allowed Nebraska to get into the endzone once. Will this momentum continue or do reasons for long-term concern still remain?
  • Ask Us Anything — writers to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com this week inquired about many topics, such as favorite Halloween costumes and how did McDonalds manage to contaminate only its quarter pounders?
  • Week 9 of college football saw the worst game of Kyle McCord's career, Indiana staying undefeated and Michigan saving face against their in-state rival.

And that does it for the Dubcast this week! Watch the show now on YouTube above, listen via the mini player below or visit our Transistor page for links to other listening options such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.
