With the Buckeyes trailing 10-7 on the road against No. 3 Penn State, the sophomore wide receiver came wide open on a 3-yard in route, caught a sharp throw from Will Howard and dashed to the end zone for a 21-yard touchdown to put Ohio State ahead 14-10 in the second quarter.

The fourth receiver in Ohio State's rotation, Inniss entered Saturday with just eight receptions for 92 yards. He also has 12 punt returns for 109 yards.
Inniss was a five-star prospect in the recruiting class of 2023 alongside Carnell Tate, one of the Buckeyes' star-studded starting trio outside. Howard's thrown two touchdowns in the passing game since his first throw went for a Penn State pick-six.
