Ohio State, Ryan Day agree in principle on a new seven-year contract worth $12.5 million per year.
Emeka Egbuka and Ryan Day didn't mince many words at the Skull Session before Ohio State's first-round College Football Playoff game in the Shoe.
Egbuka took the microphone first and emphasized that it's Ohio State's culture vs. Tennessee's culture, and that includes not just the teams and players on the field but also the Buckeyes' band and fans vs. the Volunteers' band and fans.
Day followed and spent less than 30 seconds with the microphone in his hands.
"Not much more needs to be said. One thing matters, beat Tennessee. Period," Day said. "These are some proud men right here in front of you. Some proud damn men who are going to do it one way, by swinging and swinging and swinging."
Ohio State and Tennessee kick off at 8 p.m. in Ohio Stadium. ABC and ESPN will broadcast the contest.
