Spring practice is underway at Ohio State and with it came an hour of practice and a press conference that proved informative.

Ryan Day is feeling much more relaxed after a national championship win to lift pressure from and prove the merits of his program's process, with a looser Day ready to tackle the questions facing his team entering 2025.

Julian Sayin was among the standouts from a no-contact practice for the Buckeyes, his quick release standing out while throwing side-by-side with his competition for the starting job at Ohio State, Lincoln Kienholz and Tavien St. Clair. It's far too early to make concrete judgments in the quarterback battle but there was an effortless zip on Sayin's passes.

Things remain fluid in the Ohio State secondary, as Day said the team will toy with different alignments and personnel groupings this offseason to see what works best. The Buckeyes were already rolling coverages with Caleb Downs, Malik Hartford and Lorenzo Styles Jr. as the latter two try to lock down starting jobs defensively.

Austin Siereveld slid outside for some important work at offensive tackle while Jeremiah Smith, CJ Donaldson and Quincy Porter were among the standouts from a physical perspective.

Eleven Warriors' Andy Anders and Dan Hope break down their takeaways from the first practice and press conference of spring practice in the latest episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch at the top of the page.
