Pro Day Standouts

Will Howard, Josh Simmons, Jordan Hancock, Ty Hamilton, Cody Simon, Emeka Egbuka, Gee Scott Jr. and Josh Fryar all boosted their NFL draft stock at Ohio State’s pro day. We take a closer look at how each of them stood out on Wednesday.
NFL Coaches, GMs Connect with Ohio State Players
One of the most valuable aspects of Ohio State’s pro day for its prospects and NFL team representatives alike was the opportunity for the scouts and draft hopefuls to get some face time with one another.
Notable conversations we spotted between Ohio State players and NFL team representatives on Wednesday included a lengthy talk between New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and Josh Simmons, a conversation between Will Howard and New Orleans Saints coach Kellen Moore and a chat between Quinshon Judkins and Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.

In post-pro day interviews, Howard said he is scheduled to visit with “a handful” of NFL teams including the Las Vegas Raiders – where he’ll have a chance to catch up with former Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, now the Raiders’ offensive coordinator – while Jack Sawyer said he’ll be making a trip to Cincinnati to visit the Cincinnati Bengals.
Donovan Jackson said he’ll be visiting with the Raiders, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants along with three other teams he couldn’t think off the top of his head. Seth McLaughlin, a native of Buford, Georgia, said he’ll attend the Atlanta Falcons’ local pro day.
Williams Falls During 40, Receives Medical Attention
About 20 yards into his first 40-yard dash attempt, Williams fell and immediately reached for the middle of his left leg. Ohio State's medical staff tended to Williams, helping him off the ground. As Williams and the medical staff walked behind some bleachers packed with NFL personnel, Ryan Day appeared to encourage him and wish him well.

Williams later walked to the locker room under his own power and returned to the field with a wrap on his hamstring.
Tyleik Williams has now returned to the field after going back to the locker room. Has a wrap on his hamstring, but looks to be in good spirits.
