DYK: Ohio State ranks in the top five nationally for total offense and defense through the first four weeks of the 2024 season. As the Buckeyes prepare for their conference opener in East Lansing this weekend, we look back at their final tune-up against Marshall.

As defensive backs Jordan Hancock and Lathan Ramson noted after the game, the Thundering Herd executed a game plan that caught the Buckeyes off guard, running the ball more than expected from spread formations. • How Marshall spread out the OSU defense and utilized the QB run game
  • Coverage disguises from Jim Knowles
  • Marrying concepts in the run and pass game
  • More Chip Kelly run-game wrinkles*
