I often look forward to re-watching Ohio State games, but this was different.

No, it's not because the Buckeyes dropped a fourth straight game to their arch-rivals, despite being 20-point favorites.

And no, it's not because I was still thawing out after standing outside in frigid temperatures as Fox went to commercial break after commercial break during that contest.

It's because that was a miserable game to watch once, much less twice. While I'm sure some D-line coaches loved what they saw last Saturday in Ohio Stadium, that was a brutal offensive showing from both teams.

Nine combined red zone possessions resulted in two touchdowns, two interceptions, a turnover on downs, two made field goals, and two misses, both from Ohio State's Jayden Fielding. Neither team even attempted a pass over 20 yards downfield.

At the end of the day, of course, it was the visiting underdogs who came away victorious, leading many to wonder just how Ryan Day and Co. lost yet again. So, as always, I've done my best to answer that question.

Here's what we go over in this week's video breakdown:
  • Failures across the offensive line
  • Chip Kelly's numerous attempts to run the ball creatively
  • A progression-heavy passing game against 2-deep coverages
  • Will Howard's loss of confidence
