In spite of three consecutive series against top-10 teams Sauve holds a 1.88 goals against average. She also maintains a sparkling .953 save percentage. It is the fifth best save percentage in the nation and second overall in the WCHA.
This is the second Player of the Week honor for the red shirt sophomore. She was also the conference’s Defensive Player of the Week following the Bucks’ season opening sweep of RPI. Sauve and Ohio State look to keep the momentum rolling this weekend when the Bucks host No. 4 Minnesota-Duluth.
