The women’s hockey Buckeyes swept No. 7/8 Minnesota-Duluth last week. Today they almost swept the conference awards. Three of the WCHA’s four honorees this week sport scarlet and gray.

Tatum Skaggs is the conference’s Forward of the Week. She posted three goals and an assist against the Bulldogs, including a hat trick in the sweep-clinching series finale. With 10 goals on the season, Skaggs is tied for fourth in the nation in goals scored.
For the second week in a row, Jincy Dunne takes the prize for the WCHA’s Defenseman of the Week. The blue-chip blueliner helped hold the Bulldogs to two total goals against. She also chipped in three assists. Dunne owns 15 points this year. She is currently the top scoring defender in the NCAA.
Andrea Braendli takes Rookie of the Week honors. She made 48 saves in two victories over Duluth. The Swiss netminder allowed only one goal against in each contest. She boasts a 1.85 GAA and .937 save percentage overall this season. Her numbers are even better in conference game, 1.60 GAA and .943 save percentage.
The Bucks have a bye this week. They’re back in action next week when they travel to Mankato for a rematch with Minnesota State. Ohio State swept the series when the teams met in Columbus back in October.
- The lone non-Buckeye award recipient this week was Wisconsin's Kristen Campbell who was named Goalie of the Week.
