The Buckeyes’ 11-game winning streak is the nation’s second-longest streak among Power 5 teams behind only the Gamecocks’ 23 straight wins to start the season. Ohio State (21-3, 12-1 Big Ten) also now holds sole possession of first place in the Big Ten after Iowa, the previous No. 2 team in the rankings, suffered its second loss in conference play to Nebraska on Sunday.
N.C. State and Colorado also lost over the past week, clearing the path for Ohio State to climb at least three spots in the AP poll for the fourth straight week.
The Buckeyes will look to keep their hot streak going this week when they play just one game, a home game against Nebraska at 7 p.m. Wednesday, which will be broadcast on Peacock.
