Ohio State women’s basketball remains unbeaten on its home court this season.
After suffering its fourth road loss of the year at Indiana on Thursday, Ohio State got back on track against Purdue on Sunday as the Buckeyes rolled to a 98-46 blowout win over the Boilermakers.
Ohio State made a season-high 14 3-pointers as it outscored Purdue by double digits in all four quarters. Chance Gray led the Buckeyes with 21 points while Jaloni Cambridge (20), Cotie McMahon (16), Ajae Petty (12) and Kennedy Cambridge (10) also scored in double digits for the home team.
The 52-point margin of victory was the largest for any Big Ten team in conference play this season, the largest home Big Ten win in Ohio State history and the worst-ever margin of defeat in any game for Purdue.
OSU improved to 14-0 at home, 23-4 overall and 12-4 in Big Ten play this season with the dominant victory while Purdue fell to 9-18 overall and 2-14 in Big Ten play.

The Buckeyes pulled out to a double-digit lead before Purdue scored a single point as Ohio State scored the game’s first 13 points. They finished the first quarter with a 24-8 lead as McMahon scored 10 points in the first 10 minutes.
Eight straight bench points from Madison Greene, Kennedy Cambridge and Eboni Walker extended Ohio State’s lead to 22 points early in the second quarter, and Ohio State continued to pull away from there.

Jaloni Cambridge scored 12 consecutive Ohio State points in a 12-6 Ohio State run that made it a 30-point game as she increased the lead to 49-19 with a 3-pointer, a layup and seven consecutive made free throws. The Buckeyes entered halftime with a 29-point lead as they scored 55 first-half points, the most in a half against a Big Ten opponent this season.
Ohio State came out just as hot to start the second half, opening the third quarter with a 13-3 run that included Gray scoring eight straight points in 38 seconds on a layup and two 3-pointers. The Buckeyes outscored Purdue 22-9 in the third quarter to extend their lead to 42 points, then scored the first 10 points of the fourth quarter to make it a 52-point game.
The Buckeyes outscored Purdue 21-11 in the final quarter to secure a double-digit margin over the Boilermakers in all four quarters of the game.
Ohio State, which honored Greene and Taylor Thierry in a pregame Senior Day ceremony before Sunday’s game, will play its final home game of the regular season on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Michigan State. The Buckeyes’ home finale against the Spartans will be streamed on B1G+.
