We survived five days on the space-time continuum, and our reward is another Buckeye banger.

Saturday's slate is bottom-heavy, but it does feature a midday battle for the hearts and minds of Iowans.

TIME (ET) GAME FAVORITE TV
11:30 SOUTH FLORIDA at No. 11 FLORIDA STATE FSU (-28½) ESPN
12:00 OREGON STATE at MICHIGAN UM (-14½) ABC

My upset pick: Houston over Louisville.

THE RAINBOW WARRIOR DOSSIER.

YOU'RE A LONG WAY FROM HONOLULU, TOTO. To be fair to Hawai'i, I too would travel halfway across the world for an ass-kicking if it resulted in a million dollar direct deposit into my bank account.

From BCSN.tv:

Yeesh

Traveling across time zones — Hawaii is traversing five — is notorious for wreaking havoc on stomachs and making even the fittest tourist dehydrated. Hundreds of pounds of the approximate 5,500 pounds worth of equipment is dedicated to healthy food options and sports drinks.

“Our equipment managers and trainers really do a great job,” Jones said. “Mainland teams send their equipment on trucks. We have to load that on planes and work with the airlines and airports. Al Ginoza, our head equipment trainer, is just tremendous.”

The Rainbow Warriors travel with more than a dozen trunks filled with equipment, with their route closely monitored with airlines, airports, and ground personnel. Rarely do items get misplaced, though it remains a constant worry.

That's a long way to travel in a three-day span. Hawai'i's team will be straight zombies in class on Monday.

#PERTINENTWIRE. This is how I imagine today's game going, but it's still going to be cool to check out some of the young Bucks waiting in the depths.
