Larry Johnson is the OG.

Ohio's magic may have run out last night, but Jeff Boals is still the absolute man.

Word of the Day: Alembicated.

THE SNOOP DOGG OF DEFENSIVE LINE COACHES. I have never in my life heard a more accurate description of Larry Johnson than what four-star defensive tackle Christen Miller gave this week.

"He's the OG of the game, you feel me?" Miller said. "He's the Snoop Dogg of recruiting and football. That's what I call him. He's the GOAT. I always tell him, I answer the phone like 'Yes sir, I'm on the phone with the GOAT.'"

Thoughts and prayers to anyone who has to recruit against him regularly if he's still got that reputation.

SULLY SPEAKS. E.J. Liddell is the one to bring attention to the issue – and if you'd like to hear more from him, he spoke at length to Sports Illustrated and CNN, with one interview beginning with the very fair and simple question of "what the hell?" – but he certainly isn't the first player to get unfair hate from "fans."

According to another Buckeye big man, it's a tale old as time.

And I've heard a lot of people trying to write this off as "those probably weren't fans, they were just disgruntled gamblers." But that's not really realistic considering Ohio State was a 15-point favorite and moneylines were barely even offered that game. You don't bomb on a single player who led the team in points and rebounds if your bet lost by 18 points.

More than that, this is far from the first time that I've heard of this. I've even heard rumors of a football starter even potentially considering leaving the team due to some of the things being said to him in direct messages from fans.

The reality is, people suck. Our fans suck. Some of the people reading this suck. And it's not something we can just sweep under a rug or be okay with.

JIM DELANY'S NEXT MOVE. Turns out, former Big Ten Conference commissioner Jim Delany couldn't stay retired for long. He's starting his own business venture.

Funny, I know someone who could have used these services last year, if you catch my drift.

TATE UPDATE. I'll stop updating you on Jae'Sean Tate NBA stat-lines when they stop blowing my mind. And we're not quite there yet.

I cannot emphasize enough that my brain saw Tate narrowly making an NBA roster at best, not starting, putting up 20+ points and regularly looking like the most versatile and well-rounded player on the roster.

SONG OF THE DAY. "Hope" by Descendents.

NOT STICKING TO SPORTS. An accused murderer caught after getting stuck in the chimney... What it's like to trip on the most potent magic mushroom... Incredible footage from a drone flying through a volcano... A charged with one murder says he actually killed 16... The wannabe food influencer who's wanted by the FBI...
