After Jim Harbaugh's lengthy flirtation with the NFL earlier this year, it now appears that Michigan's head basketball coach may be considering a leap to the professional ranks, as well.
Juwan Howard is expected to be a candidate for the Los Angeles Lakers head coaching position – a job that is expected to open up soon as current head coach Frank Vogel is reportedly out as head coach.
Juwan Howard is expected to emerge as a candidate for the Lakers anticipated head coaching vacancy, per @ShamsCharania.

Howard previously interviewed for the Lakers' head coaching job back in 2019 before the Lakers ultimately went in a different direction and Howard became the head coach at Michigan.
Howard's only head coaching experience has come in his three seasons at Michigan. He was previously an assistant coach with the Miami heat from 2013 to 2019.
