Not one, but two former Buckeyes express their surprise that Cardale Jones apparently won QBgeddon.

The 2015 college football season is officially underway and your Buckeyes are 1-0. (We're told the best thing about that is the chance to get to 2-0, but I digress.) Ohio State avenged last season's only loss by beating the Hokies handily in their own stadium. It wasn't a perfect game, but it was a nice start to what should be a mostly entertaining season.
The excitement was too much for our own Johnny Ginter, who was forced onto the DL for the week. Not to worry, as intrepid 11W intern Kevin Harrish filled in admirably for our fallen soldier. Kevin and I discuss the highs and lows of a high-scoring affair in Blacksburg.
Bobby Carpenter, co-host of Carpenter & Rothman on 97.1 The Fan and a pretty good former OSU linebacker, stopped by to give his view of the game, Cardale Jones winning the QB derby, Joey Bosa's absence, the newcomers on defense and more. And of course Matt Finkes dropped in for Finkes on Football and expressed his thoughts on the OSU opener.
And we answered your Ask Us Anything questions. You can ask us literally anything on Twitter or via email. Remember, we're here to help you.
0:26- Kevin and I were both pretty excited by what we saw on Monday night, especially with that new H-back guy wearing No. 1.
16:28- Ask Us Anything: Kevin gets indoctrinated with questions about philosophy, the recurring difficulties of Charlie Brown, and what to do with those who text and drive.
26:31- It's time for Finkes on Football and now we have some actual football to discuss. The big dude covers the Virginia Tech game in all facets.
39:54- Bobby Carpenter drops in with his perspective on the Cardale/J.T. debate, what it was like for Sam Hubbard to go from safety to defensive end, and more.
56:50- Kevin aspires to be Pigpen.
That's it for opening week. We'll be back next week to break down the Hawaii game and hopefully Johnny is completely recovered from Captain Trips by then.
