I'm not an overly optimistic person. I try to look on the bright side of things and suppress my natural instinct that says everything is going to end horribly and there's nothing that you can do about it, but more often than not I fail, using the cruel and unforgiving nature of man as evidence.
Well, that's dumb. Take the Dubcast, for instance. Beau Bishop has been more of my absolute favorite people in sports media for a long time now. He's an interesting, engaging guy who is knowledgeable without being condescending and fun without being pandering. I've tried (with various levels of success) to model a lot of how I present myself in this format on what he's been able to do in his career, and I know that many of you are big fans of his as well.
And now he's the newest co-host of the Eleven Dubcast.
Sometimes things just work out! We live in a universe where LeBron James created an almost literal miracle, so dammit, why can't Columbus' favorite media personality talk with us on a weekly basis about all things sports and entertainment? The Eleven Dubcast has changed (and will continue to change) for the better, and we look forward to showing you what we're capable of. Beau and I hope to hear from you all on a regular basis as we talk Ohio sports, Buckeye sports, and your very strong opinions about who should bite it in the Game of Thrones season finale.
