Money changes things. It'd be nice if we could just regard it as something kind of fun but generally ancillary in our lives, but since we haven't reached the Star Trek-esque utopia in human development quite yet (although surely any day now), it remains a significant factor in just about every social and political situation that you'll ever find yourself in.
And as long as that holds true, Chris Spielman is 100% in the right to sue Ohio State. This week on the Dubcast, Beau and I talk about what it means for the university, our perception of Spielman, and what it could mean for college sports long term. Also: fun summer tournaments! Scoonie! And like 20 minutes on Game of Thrones (seriously, once we start we don't stop so if you're not down with the crown you can turn it off there)!
Ask Us Anything will return next week, so send in your questions here, and as always, don't forget to rate and subscribe on iTunes. It'll put hair on your chest.
0:00- The Chris Spielman lawsuit is interesting for a variety of reasons, and we break it down from all kinds of angles.
15:46- Scoonie's back! Beau gives his thoughts on his hire in the Ohio State basketball program.
19:55- T B T, SON! I will always embrace an opportunity for Ohio State to win something, even if it isn't really "Ohio State."
24:30- GAME OF THRONES TALK please do not be upset that we geek out over a cultural touchstone for about twenty minutes.
And that'll do it! Thanks as always to Travis for the logo, to you for listening and supporting us through the Dry Goods store, and we hope to see you back here next week!
