Yes, yes, we have to talk a little bit about Zach Smith. Skip it if your sanity requires, but the twenty cent summary is that A) this drama is straying far, far away from what the original story was, B) Jeff Snook and Brett McMurphy are being unprofessional, sensationalist, and seem to care more about relaying in piecemeal whatever tidbits they're getting from the side of the story they're closest to instead of doing actual reporting, and C) we're all pretty tired of this whole thing.

As several of you (correctly) pointed out in the comments last week, ultimately all that matters is whether the investigation committee believes Urban Meyer did what was expected of him by the school concerning Zach Smith. If he did, he's fine. If he didn't, who knows.

Either way, I'm okay with it. Let's talk football.

Since Beau had some family business to contend with, I called on our friends Kevin and Andy to help us break down which unsung units on the football team they're most excited to see in action (I'm extremely pumped about the kicking game and the offensive line), and we get into another story out of Maryland that's much worse than what we've been dealing with here in Columbus.

Plus, of course, Ask Us Anything, which dares to inquire about what to do in Dallas for the TCU game. You can ask us anything that your heart desires by sending us questions via e-mail or Twitter. And, as always, please don't forget to rate and subscribe to us on iTunes or check us out on Google Podcasts, whatever floats your boat.

0:00 Zach Smith, McMurphy, Snook. Eh.

8:20 What happens with Urban Meyer will unfortunately distract from this, but what's going down at Maryland is a dumpster fire and ultimately is horrible for the sport and the people who play it.

17:00 FOOTBALL. AT LAST!

31:53 Ask Us Anything keeps chugging on into the regular season.

And that'll do it for this week! Thanks to Travis for our logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out our Dry Goods store, and we shall see you guys next time.
