Chase Young for Heisman. There, I said it. And I'd say it again if I had to.
But during this bye week, Andy and I have been busy scratching our heads at the various goings-on in college football, particularly when if comes to coaching hires. Several high profile jobs have opened up in recent weeks, and that leads us to wondering: how had Ohio State been able to do so damn well when it comes to coaching hires?
The answer, as per usual, is Gene Smith, but in a larger sense it's talent evaluation. Which is interesting, because it's the same element that makes individual teams successful from a recruiting standpoint. In other words, you see the same values and talents repeat themselves all over college sports.
So Andy and I talk about that, Michigan being dumb, do some basketball chat, and as always, answer listener questions in Ask Us Anything (which you can do via Twitter or e-mail)! If you enjoy the Dubcast, don't forget to rate and subscribe on iTunes, Google Podcasts, or Spotify!

15:10 Good programs hire bad coaches at a crazy pace and it's amazing that Ohio State hasn't fallen into that trap. Plus basketball returns on Wednesday!
33:30 Ask Us Anything thinks you have too many plates in your house.
And that'll do it! Thanks as always to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, thanks to Travis for the logo, and we'll see you next time!
