The narrative of football, both in terms of the college game and the NFL, is such that it kind of becomes this weird, recursive Möbius strip of information at a certain point. Looping back on itself, all the knowledge that we gain about a player becomes warped and twisted over the course of an offseason, until it comes right back around again where it started and what we knew all along is confirmed.
Not so with C.J. Stroud. Dude is self-evidently amazing, has NFL scouts gushing, and looks like the number one pick in the draft. This week special cohost George Eisner and I take a look at how the NFL-bound Buckeyes performed in Indianapolis, and project how they might look in the league in the near future.
Plus: men's basketball fever! Catch it! And by "it" I mean maybe the last game or two before this season is mercifully over! We don't dwell on it too long, but I would love to see Ohio State make Fran sweat in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament.
All that, plus our weekly salute to non-revenue sports and Ask Us Anything (which you can do by sending us your questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com) wants to know what our ideal cuts of steak are!
As always, thanks for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
