Growing pains are hard when you're forced to watch them happen live on television for three and a half hours, and this week Johnny and George take stock of the good and scratch their heads over the bad of Ohio State's win over the Indiana Hoosiers.
There were things that we liked and things we didn't like so much, but the key idea here is evolution. What makes the narrative of college football so uniquely engaging is that teams change significantly over the course of a season, and we at the Dubcast think that the next few weeks are going to be absolutely fascinating. But also probably at least a little frustrating!
- Pros and cons, pluses and minuses... we break down what we saw on Saturday. The good news is that the defense, through one game at least, seems very solid.
- Ask Us Anything - which you can do by sending us questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com - wants to know our weird little traditions to start the football season!
- George and I also talk about the wider college football world at large, particularly what's going on in Ann Arbor and Coach Prime making fools out of everyone, at least for a weekend.
And that'll do it! Thanks to our sponsor OneMedical, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
