Michigan football is bad!
Oh sure, there are other things that we've got to get into with the Dubcast this week; Ohio State injuries, Nick Saban roasting Jim Knowles, crazy games in the Top 10 this past weekend, and I think I make a joke about Ohio State men's basketball at one point.
But really, this Dubcast belongs to George and I laughing about the Michigan Wolverines and their extremely, horrendously down bad fans, who have seemingly completely forgotten about being reigning national champions and are mostly now focused on hoping that Dave Portnoy and Urban Meyer can save their program.
The funny thing is that yours truly (who expected Michigan to be a dumpster fire this season) is the one trying to point out that maybe things aren't quite as bad as they seem in Ann Arbor, whereas everyone else seems to be waking up to the prospect that Sherrone Moore might not even get them to a bowl game this year.
In the meantime, fingers crossed that Sparty has something fun up their sleeve for this weekend. Here's the rundown for the show this week:
- Injuries suck, and George and I can only really apply "next man up" selectively.
- Nick Saban wasn't wrong when he called out Jim Knowles, but the good news is that he'll have a number of opportunities to right the ship.
- Michigan, again, bad! We talk about the Wolverines getting punked by Illinois and laugh at some of the more dire Michigan fan reactions.
- Ask Us Anything, which you can do by sending us questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com, had defensive questions, and also wants to curse us with speculations about injuries!
- The marquee national games were fun and all, but if people don't start putting respect on Indiana's name we're going to lose it.
- Dubgate XII! This Saturday at 9 am, behind the Varsity Club! Be there, and support the Special Olympics!
