The fun thing about your favorite team winning a huge game is that you get to relive the coolest moments from said game over and over in your brain for all eternity.
And, if you happen to have a podcast like yours truly and George does, you can record yourself geeking out about it for posterity. Which is what we spend this week's Dubcast doing!
The truth is that Ohio State's win over Penn State this past weekend was one of the most satisfying, consequential victories for the Buckeyes in a long, long time. How long? The last time Ohio State beat a top five team in the regular season was in 2018, against fourth-ranked Michigan.
Yeah, I know: it's Penn State, a team and a coach Ohio State has dominated for over a decade now. But the team the Buckeyes beat (undefeated, top five, at home) and how they beat them (overcoming adversity and mistakes, sealing the deal with an epic goal line stand and subsequent manball drive) was uniquely satisfying and fun as hell to watch.
So that's what this week's Dubcast is about! And other stuff!
- We get into our favorite moments from the game, including an insane interception that turned everything on a dime and a final drive that seemed impossible just a week ago.
- Will Howard wasn't always great against Penn State, but his leadership continues to be elite.
- The defense was fantastic and aggressive, and maybe the former because of the latter; exhibit A would be one Simon, Cody.
- Drew Allar turned back into a pumpkin, and James Franklin... well, he's James Franklin.

- Basketball is back! The men's team took down Texas, a fact that we didn't know about until after recording!
- Men's soccer, women's hockey, and oh yeah, Michigan lost. These are all very cool and good things.
