Eleven Dubcast: Michigan Computer Crimes Might Not Lead to Huge Punishments, But a Man Can Dream

What Matt Weiss has been accused of is pretty gross and terrible, and truthfully, seeing justice done with regard to that takes precedent over any other potential football-related considerations; yeah, it'd be cool if actual, judicially significant criminality led to mostly made-up NCAA criminality, as one is at least a little bit more important than the other.

Color me skeptical! Cool and good things don't always just happen, and while it is easy to connect the dots from computer crimes to other potential computer crimes, anything beyond that is mere speculation. But this is a podcast, so uh... hell yeah, let's get speculating!

Also a lot of consecutive bad news for non-revenue sports, but I'm buying a Joy Dunne shirt anyway, she (and the rest of the team) deserves it. Plus Ask Us Anything, which reminds us of a poem...

  • If Matt Weiss is guilty of what he's accused of, here's hoping that the legal system throws the book at that dude.
  • What the hell was Michigan doing with their hiring of coaches in the last 3-5 years?
  • Heartbreak for women's hockey, your favorite team's favorite team. The NCAA isn't beating the rigged rap.
  • Ask Us Anything, which you can do by sending us questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com, wants to know our most debauched Spring Break stories.
  • Georgia can't stop speeding, this time directly into apartment buildings, and Texas is a nooner (probably). Cool. Great. Awesome.

And that does it for the Dubcast this week! Watch the show now on YouTube above, listen via the mini player below or visit our Transistor page for links to other listening options such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.
