Welcome to Campus Connection, the only place where you'll see coverage of the Ohio State pottery club or chess team throughout the interwebs.
When you normally think of an Ohio State dorm, you either think of the south (nice), north (nicer), or west (Towers). But there is one outlier that not everyone knows about and it's Lawrence Tower.
Located on Lane Avenue behind Panera and across the street from St. John Arena, in what was once a Holliday Inn, the eleven-story Lawrence Tower is unique in that it is the only true dorm to not be located directly within academic campus.
The dorm features an on-site parking garage and also has it's own restaurant, the PAD, which also has various grocery items available for purchase.
They also had pancake night last night, which I apparently missed.

Similar to most Ohio State dorms, Lawrence Tower features a 24-hour help desk (think: hotel) which can be used to pick up packages, check out board games and recreational equipment, as well as help with any general questions one may have.
Due to its proximity to popular venues such as the Schottenstein Center and North Campus, Lawrence Tower is one of the most popular dorms "on campus."
In fact, there is a Reddit thread devoted to questions about the tower in which one commenter says, "enjoy your literal hotel room."
As for me, I have yet to visit Lawrence Tower but may just have to make my way up there for the next pancake night.
