From Cleveland.com and the Department of the Surprising but Not Totally Surprising:
The victory over Indiana moved Ohio State coach Urban Meyer into third-place all-time for winning percentage among major college football coaches.
Meyer started the year sixth among major-college coaches with at least 10 seasons, the official NCAA record book showed.
... The victory over Indiana on Saturday lifted Meyer's coaching record at four schools to 127-23 for a winning percentage of .8466, enough to edge him past George Woodruff, who was 142-25-2 for a winning percentage of .8462 at Penn, Illinois and Carlisle more than a century ago.
Urban Meyer has also leapt over college coaching don dadas such as Barry Switzer and Tom Osborne. Not too shabby for a man who was a head coach of a bottom-feeding MAC team a little more than a decade ago.
Here's to that win percentage ticking up just a little bit more by this time next week.
