Bishop Sycamore is back ... kinda.
An ESPN-televised high school football game in Ohio made national news in August 2021 when prep football powerhouse IMG Academy wiped the field with Bishop Sycamore to the tune of a 58-0 win at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Due to the shocking disparity in talent, reaction from ESPN commentators and the damning details that emerged afterward, the contest set the internet ablaze. In fact, a subsequent investigation by the Ohio Department of Education could not find evidence that the supposed high school had met even minimum academic requirements.
Now, nearly two years after the controversy began, HBO Max is set to release a documentary on the scandal entitled "BS High" on Wednesday.

If you thought Bishop Sycamore fervor had died down over the past two years, think again. HBO's streaming platform could shed new light on the situation and put the internet's favorite Columbus-based high school football program back in the spotlight next week.
