Aaron Bradshaw is heading back south.

The former Ohio State center committed to Memphis from the transfer portal on Wednesday, landing with his third school in as many years after spending his freshman season with Kentucky and sophomore year with the Buckeyes.

Bradshaw was a five-star prospect and McDonald's All-American out of high school, but is still trying to live up to that billing. He finished the 2024-25 season averaging just six points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game. Bradshaw's rebounding rate dipped from his freshman year, as he went from 9.6 rebounds per 40 minutes at Kentucky to just 6.5 per 40 minutes at Ohio State.

Memphis provides Bradshaw with an interesting situation with a winning program. The Tigers went 29-6 and won the American Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championships. They lost their top three forwards from that team, all seniors.

All five members of Ohio State's 2024 portal class, which Bradshaw was a part of, have left the Buckeyes after one season. Sean Stewart and Meechie Johnson Jr. both followed Bradshaw in returning to the portal, with Johnson going back to his previous stop of South Carolina; Micah Parrish and Ques Glover exhausted their eligibility.

Santa Clara transfer Christoph Tilly, sophomore Ivan Njegovan and incoming freshman A'mare Bynum are Ohio State's current center options for 2025-26.
