Baylor beat Kansas State, 38-27, to become co-champs of the Big XII along with Texas Christian. It's Baylor's second-straight year with at least a share of the Big XII crown.

All was not well for Art Briles, though. Art Briles and Big XII Commissioner Bob Bowlsby had a discernible argument about Bowlsby's perceived lack of support for the Baylor Bears. Bowlsby has tried to assuage both Baylor and TCU by crowning them both "co-champs". For Art Briles, that seems like a lack of support and antithetical to the "one true champion" slogan. Baylor won the head-to-head meeting in early October.

“If you’re gonna slogan around and say ‘one true champion’ and all of the sudden you’re going out the backdoor instead of the front? Don’t say one thing and do another.”

Art Briles had other #takes as well. His supporting argument for Baylor beyond the head-to-head win over Texas Christian include these two gems.

One, Briles contends that Baylor has the best road win on the résumé of "anyone in the nation". He says this signature win was Baylor's win at Oklahoma because "it's a hard place to win". The only problem with that statement: Oklahoma lost three games at home in 2014, including Bedlam to a 6-6 Oklahoma State team. Kansas State won there as well.

He also polished that turd of a schedule as well as anyone could by noting the game at Buffalo was the "largest game in Buffalo history". Buffalo is a four-win team, but okay, Art.

Let the #takes begin.
