Ohio State is finally on the board again for the 2026 class.
Ohio three-star wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts committed to Ohio State shortly after the Buckeyes' 31-7 win over Northwestern on Saturday, giving OSU its second commit in the 2026 cycle.
The Ricketts File
- Class: 2026
- Size: 6-0/187
- Pos: Wide Receiver
- School: Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, Ohio)
Ricketts doesn't hold a 247Sports composite ranking as of yet, but has earned nine Division I offers, including Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Illinois, Kent State, Miami (OH), Ohio and Toledo.
The 6-foot, 187-pound product earned his OSU offer in June following an impressive performance at a recruiting camp that impressed Brian Hartline. Ricketts is the second commit in Ohio State's 2026 class, joining five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. as the only two prospects in the Buckeyes' cycle.
Speed is the top asset of Ricketts’ game and he’s been a noted track star for Watkins Memorial High School, recording a time of 10.88 seconds in the 100-meter dash. With two wide receivers already committed to the Buckeyes’ 2026 class, Brian Hartline is off to a terrific start in that cycle, but OSU still hopes to bring in at least four wideouts in that class.
