Could Brady Hoke, like Rich Rodriguez before him, turn a Michigan tenure of disappointment into a west coast resurrection?
Rodriguez, despite being routed by Oregon in the Pac-12 title game, was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year on the same day Brady Hoke was fired last week. And according 24/7's Josh Newberg, Oregon State contacted Brady Hoke about its head coaching vacancy. Oregon State is searching for a head coach after 14-year frontman, Mike Reilly, was poached by Nebraska.
If Hoke-to-Oregon State seems too wild to be true, Vico pointed out to me Hoke was an assistant in Corvalis during the early 90s.
