It was thought Paul Chryst-to-Wisconsin was all but official, but four-star running back (and Youngstownian), Darrin Hall, a top Pittsburgh commit, thinks Pittsburgh will retain Chryst if the Pants grant Chryst's undetermined demands.
From Jerry DiPaola of TribLive.com:
“They have the impression he's staying there,” Hall said of his conversations last week with running backs coach John Settle and director of player development Bob Junko, who told him Chryst met with chancellor Patrick Gallagher. “There are things (Chryst) wants changed, and if they can get it changed, he's staying.”
Hall didn't reveal the details of those “things,” but he said he was encouraged by the phone calls.
Chryst is a former Badgers OC, a Wisconsin alumnus, and 19-19 at Pittsburgh in three years. If the Badgers can't chisel him out of Pittsburgh, then this would be akin to losing your head coach to Oregon State.
