It's the stretch of off-season where contact between head coach and team is limited. Urban Meyer, for example, is at an unknown, international location with his family before departing on the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer.
Jim Harbaugh, on the other hand, is using his time to prepare Baylor's Bryce Petty and Florida State's Jameis Winston for the NFL draft?

Why were Jameis Winston and Bryce Petty at Michigan? They spent Sun-Tues with Jim Harbaugh, getting acclimated to time zone & weather

U-M's Harbaugh mentors Winston, Petty before combine; Three days in Ann Arbor, steered there by Whitfield http://t.co/tKYa0y1qUm

I understand why Jameis Winston and Bryce Petty's reasoning for being there. I just don't understand why Harbaugh would waste his time with something like this, unless it's to ingratiate himself to George Whitfield, who say what you will about him, has a stable of other young, talented quarterbacks.
Also, Harbaugh does whatever Harbaugh wants. No, this isn't normal. And neither is he.

I'm on the record as saying Harbaugh will be good for Michigan, but man, it's going to get interesting if his teams don't win enough games.
