We knew Art Briles was salty, but he might also be a bit crazy.
Art Briles asked about his non-conf. scheduling philosophy. Said non-conf schedule had zero effect on Baylor getting left out last season

Baylor's 2014 non-conference slate: SMU, Northwestern State, and Buffalo. They won those games by a combined score of 178-27.
Of course, its October loss to West Virginia and a lack of a Big 12 championship game played a bigger role in Baylor getting bounced from the playoff field, but to say its pitiful scheduling had "zero effect"? C'mon, man. Nobody is buying that.
