Just days after suspending Art Briles with the intent to fire him amidst allegations of sexual assault by multiple players under his watch, Baylor hired an interim coach Monday to lead the Bears during the 2016 season.
According to multiple reports, former longtime Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe will lead Baylor in 2016.

Grobe was the Wake Forest head coach from 2001-13 and compiled a record of 77-82. Prior to leading the Demon Deacons, Grobe was the head coach at Ohio from 1995 to 2000.
According to a USATODAY Sports report, Baylor will conduct a full search at the conclusion of the 2016 season as the hiring of Grobe is only on an interim basis at this time.
Briles was 65-37 in eight years at Baylor but after the sexual assault findings were released last week the school had no choice but to terminate him.
