Former Hilliard Darby QB Blake Horvath had a game to remember Friday afternoon.

Horvath, now the starting quarterback for Navy, had two touchdown runs in his team's 21-20 victory over Oklahoma in the Armed Forces Bowl, including a 95-yard touchdown run. The Columbus resident grew up an Ohio State fan and tipped his cap to Ezekiel Elliott in his postgame interview.

“I was an Ohio State fan when Ezekiel Elliott went 85 yards through the heart of the south, 95 yards sounds nice too,” Horvath said.

Overall, Horvath finished 7 of 12 passing for 92 yards and ran for 155 yards on 18 carries Friday. Navy finished with a 10-3 overall record with him at quarterback.
