This week the WWE presents it's annual Super Bowl, Wrestlemania 41.
Las Vegas is the site, it's a two day event that starts on Saturday the 19th and ends Sunday the 20th.
Highlights of the card:
Undisputed WWE championship: American Nightmare Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
WWE World Heavyweight championship: Gunther (c) vs. Main Event Jey Uso
Triple threat match: Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
WWE Women's World championship: Iyo Skye (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley
WWE United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
WWE Women's championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
Plus a bunch of other matches.
My thoughts, the build to this mania has been clunky. Lots of things could've been improved, some of the matches don't make a ton of sense and they feel like they're just there...
Having said that, the depth on the roster is evident, even with some key players missing, and even with a card that's not super interesting, the performers themselves can pull off a night of great action and make it a memorable event.
Everyone in the comments gets an upvote if the conversation is kept positive, I and the rest of the wrestling fans on here know that wrestling isn't for everyone, but no need to crap on it just because you don't get into it.
