On Thursday, Jaden McNeil, a junior at Kansas State and the founder/president of a conservative student organization with purported white nationalist ties, tweeted a tasteless joke about the death of George Floyd. In response, numerous Kansas State student-athletes, including much of the football team, have pledged to not play or practice until the university institutes a policy of expelling students who display "openly racist, threatening or disrespectful actions" towards other students.
