One of Ohio State's top remaining targets in the 2025 recruiting class is back on the market.
Four-star running back Anthony Rogers decommitted from Alabama on Sunday and will choose between playing for the Buckeyes or Georgia Bulldogs on National Signing Day on Dec. 4. He had been committed to Alabama since June 2023.

Rogers took an unofficial visit to OSU in May, then returned for his official visit earlier this month when the Buckeyes played Purdue. Carlos Locklyn and Rogers have developed an extremely close relationship throughout the recruiting process, with Locklyn's Alabama roots giving him a big boon in this recruitment.
While OSU can't let up in the pursuit of Rogers between now and Dec. 4, the Buckeyes should be considered the favorite here. Should he join Ohio State, he'd be the third running back commit in the 2025 class, joining Bo Jackson and Isaiah West.
The Alabama standout has been used as a Swiss Army knife in his senior season at Carver High School (Montgomery, Alabama). In nine games, Rogers has racked up 221 rushing yards on 36 carries with two rushing scores and caught 42 passes for 478 yards and four receiving touchdowns. He also serves as the team's kick returner.
Rogers is ranked as the No. 8 running back and No. 141 overall prospect in the 2025 recruiting class.
