Nebraska's front offices were the most vocal opponents of the cancellation.
The first COVID schedule was: @ OSU, PSU, @ Rutgers, & MSU. But, c'mon... if you had to rid yourselves of two games, why leave BOTH giants?
Recapping winners and losers of the NEW B1G SCHEDULES (Covid only)
- Biggest Loser: Nebraska
- Runner up Losers: Michigan... They keep @ Minnesota @ Wisconsin, but lose Purdue, @ Northwestern.
- Biggest Winner: Northwestern (they lost @ Penn State & Michigan in the same year) & Purdue (lost OSU & @ Michigan)
- Runner Up: Rutgers, they keep Illinois & @ Purdue, while losing Nebraska & @ Wisconsin. Congrats, this may still wind up being their only win of the year.
Does anybody else find it coincidental that Harbaugh and Nebraska were the most vocal teams from their divisions, and they were the biggest cross-divisional losers in the adjustment?
Take notice: Kevin Warren doesn't like dissidence.
To summarize both COVID schedules, nobody had a cross-divisional added to the slate, but two were contracted.
